Twerp
Cannon Beach, Oregon
Twerp works at the law office
of Charles Hillestad in Cannon Beach, Oregon. She started when she was 6 weeks
old in 1995. When we came through the door to ask about Twerp, she ran up
to greet us before we could even say her name. She likes to sit in the windows
and roll around. Sometimes she falls off the ledge, because she's not terribly
graceful. She is quite flexible, though. She likes to be held upside down,
with her back making a u-shape. Another favorite trick is to take up any spaces
as soon as they are made. When a book comes off the shelf, she holds its place.
She doesn't go outside. When the door is open she'll sit under a desk and
look out. When she needs to, she hides behind the filing cabinets.
