Cat Museum cats
Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Four cats work at the Cat Museum (De Kattenkabinet) in Amsterdam. I heard about it many years ago and figured I'd never have the chance to go. But in April of 2009 we booked a trip to London with a 24-hour stopover in Amsterdam and the first place I headed was the Cat Museum. We were greeted at the door by one puss who took us on a tour of the museum and ended in her favorite sunny spot. One of the other kitties was already there. They glared at each other awhile but ended up sharing the space. Downstairs, before we left, we met Joaquin (middle picture below), who was a very nice lover boy. He rubbed our hands and purred for us. I will make sure to write to the cat museum for the other cats' names, but in the meantime, if anyone else knows, feel free to write me. (By the way, there are 4 cats at the museum, but we only saw 3 of them. That's why there are only 3 cats pictured.)
