"Jake, is the boss
at The Wilderness Lodge Leather and Hat Shop in Gettysburg, PA. He has resided
there since he was a cute little black puff ball, in 1994. One of the cutest
stories concerns many of Jake's fans who come around all hours of the day
and night, on walks, past the store, even when we aren't open. Many stop to
say 'Hi' to Jake through the mail slot in the front door. He comes to greet
them and have them tell him just how cute and handsome and good a cat that
he is. They look silly on their hands and knees while he enjoys being the
