Bear

Bear is a special kitty.
He was brought into Reigning Cats & Dogs Small Animal Hospital on February
3rd, 2000. He was about 2 years old then. His owners brought him in because
he was sick. When they found out he was FIV positive, and couldn't go back
to the other kitties at the house, they told the doctor to put Bear down.
The doctors and nurses just couldn't put Bear to sleep, so they kept him on
as a shopcat. He is isolated from the other animals, but still has his playtime
with the humans. He is very friendly and has no idea he is sick. He has a
quick, loud purr and gives love bites. He also hugs people, with one paw on
each side of their neck. He is a big boy at 13 pounds and shares his clinic
with Nick.
