Trixie works at the Ocean Shores Library in Ocean Shores, Washington. She was born late in 1999 and came to the library when she was about 4-6 months old. When she was younger she would curl up in patrons' laps as they were reading. Now that she's older she's a bit more aloof. Trixie has a loyal fan base who come in to see her and pet her. One of them even drew her portrait which is hanging in the library. She has also been in the newspaper. Trixie never tries to go outside. She prefers to sleep in the office or on a chair draped with her favorite quilt.
