Spot lives at the Gilbert
Inn in Seaside Oregon. He was born early in 1998. He used to live down the
street but his owners moved away and left him behind. He walked around the
outside of the Gilbert Inn whenever the owners were around. He spent about
2 months outdoors until winter came, and he finally came inside. He's still
a bit skittery with people, but he warmed up to me and even rolled on the
floor and purred for me. He gets along okay with his roomie, Gilbert.
Some people think he should have been named Sullivan, to go with Gilbert,
but the owner insisted on Spot.
