Freddie

Freddie started out as
a household pet, picked up from the Humane Society. When his owner couldn't
take care of him anymore, she gave him to her daughter, and she brings Freddie
to work every day. Freddie has worked at Contact Electric & Hardware since
March of 1999 when he was 10 years old. He likes to greet customers, hide
in bags & recycle boxes, and get tummy rubs. He is very gentle with all customers,
especially children. He seems to be a great stress-reducer for the customers,
who like to pet him and tell their cat stories. He is very well-liked throughout
his neighborhood, and once had several of his neighbors patrolling the area
for him one day when he escaped. He still likes to try to get away from time
to time, but mostly he's on a leash and can't wander too far anymore.
