Peter came to Beacon Cat
Hospital in Sidney, BC, around Thanksgiving 1999. He was 6-9 months old then.
He was dropped off by a person who had found him in bad condition. He had
been hurt by a raccoon and almost needed a leg amputated. Peter has a wonderful
disposition and is being trained so he can visit nursing homes a couple times
a week. He loves people and will come out and greet them when they come in
the clinic. Peter also has a "kennel fetish" : he gets in any carrier
that is brought in (even a homemade wire one). He will also try and get into
the cages in the back whether another cat is in them or not! Peter often reduces
the stress in the office. Just when tensions are getting high, he will do
something incredibly silly and make everyone laugh.
