Rocky works with Emily and Max at Alexander's Books in Lafayette, Louisiana. "Rocky's former person died 2+ years ago and he was a neighborhood cat for a while - in and out and being fed by many but no vet care. One of our customers, Bill Lambert, DVM, asked me one day if I knew someone who wanted a really nice Maine Coone. At first, we thought - oh no - we're a 2 cat family. But when we thought about it a little more, we decided to give him a try. Needless to say, he's a wonderful cat and we've had him as a member of our family for almost a year. Rocky even has a local following - several people come in the bookstore just to visit him (they lived in his former neighborhood.)"
