Swinky works in a gift shop in Stratford-upon-Avon in England called Swinky’s gifts. "We have one cat called Swinky, it’s actually an Africaans word that means ‘Kiss me’ – although we spell it differently. When my South African wife first saw her she picked her up and said “swinky” meaning kiss me and that’s how we named her. She is just 18months old, and works in the gift shop every day. We got her from a rescue home, and she is one of the friendliest cats we have ever met, she loves people, but she is a little hunter. Almost every day she brings us a gift of a mouse or bird, we tried a little bell on her collar, but we can’t stop her – nature I suppose."
