Toby has worked at Sally's Trading Post in Victoria, BC since 1997 when he was about 2 years old. He was found by an employee who couldn't keep him at home, so they brought him to the shop. Now he has a full time job greeting people and testing out the new furniture to make sure it is good enough for the customers. He likes to talk to people when they arrive and will tolerate little kids, but he HATES tummy rubs and will attack you if you try it. He loves to lie on the floor tummy-up though. One customer ruffled his tum when he was lying down like that and he chased her around the store. She ended up backing away from him slowly. Still, he is wonderful to have around the store and provides lots of comic relief for employees and customers alike.
