Jake works at Lien Animal Clinic in Seattle, Washington, with his friends Charlie and Biff. Jake was picked up as a stray by a client and brought to the clinic in the winter of 1999. He used to stay in the back a lot, but now he'll wander out front once in awhile. He loves people and he loves to be petted, but will let you know when he's had enough with a little chomp. Jake has a kidney disease, so he is also a patient. He gets fluid treatments every day. Most days you can find him in the back of the clinic sleeping on his favorite pillow.
