Klea
Kirkland, Washington
Klea is the kitty-in-charge
at City Pets in Kirkland, Washington. She came to the store as a PAWS cat,
to be adopted out. However, the people at the store fell in love with her
and adopted her for themselves. She was about two years old then, in 1997.
Klea has a keen interest in the other animals in the store. She'll often sit
on the edge of the goldfish pond and watch the fish swim around. She also
finds and plays with any escaped animals... hamsters, gerbils, lizards, etc.
but she won't harm them. She gets along well with dogs and eventually she
became okay with the cats there too. Klea will only drink out of the fish
pond. No water bowls for her, thank you! She is also very talkative and will
let you pet her. However, don't push her too far. She can be moody and claw
people, too.
