Pancho

Pancho is one of the most
famous kitties on this website. He was in the Cats at Work book published
in 1991. He was born in 1989, and has been at the shop since he was a kitten.
He used to live in the subbasement, but when Broadway Panhandler moved into
the building, the owner saw him and moved him up into the store. Sometimes
he sneaks outside through windows and walks around the back ledge until he
gets spotted. He loves to be near the employees in the store, and will often
find strange places to sit just so he can be near them. In winter, he also
likes sleeping on the radiator shelf in the window . He and his friend Catherine
also have baskets next to each other that they like to sleep in. They both
eat off a silver platter and have many fans. Some customers come in to visit
them regularly.
