George lives at a pet supply
store in Seattle, Washington called Bark. He is very new, only having been
at the store 3 weeks when we met him in March of 2001. He was born in 1999.
George is a very easygoing cat. He loves tummy rubs, does well with dogs in
the store, and loves attention from anyone who'll give it to him. (Sometimes
George needs so much attention he wants you to stand there while he eats!)
George likes to sleep in the display case up front (he even has a bed there!),
in the cat trees and cat beds, or other hidey-holes around the store. George
came from a PAWS shelter where he had been returned because he talked too
much. He's getting all the attention and love he needs here. And they don't
mind if he talks all day long.
